2 miles downstream from Davis Dam is Bullhead City, AZ. It is separated from Laughlin, NV by the Colorado River and joined by bridge. The majority of the resorts can be reached by strolling down the scenic river walkway. Most of the Laughlin Hotels offer daily river tours. There is a water taxi service available between the major resorts. There are many spots in both cities to rent personal watercraft for a day.

Many of the Riverfront properties, on the Bullhead City side, have private docks. These include single-family residences, manufactured homes, RV Parks and condominium complexes. There are residential sub-divisions that have river access & boat launches through homeowners associations. There are also public parks & boat launches.
